Description

The Tuff Country 62232 SX6000 Hydraulic Shock (Single) with Stem-to-Loop mounting is built for lifted trucks and 4x4s that demand steady damping and confident handling on and off the road.

  • Design: Twin-tube hydraulic shock absorber with multi‑stage valving for smooth, controlled damping in varied terrain.
  • Travel & Fit: 15.25" collapsed length and 24" extended length to suit 4"–6" lift configurations with a stem‑to‑loop mounting.
  • Piston Rod: 5/8" diameter rod provides durability and consistent performance under load.
  • Components: Includes poly bushings and the necessary hardware for installation (note: shock boots are not included).
  • Warranty: Backed by Tuff Country’s Limited Lifetime Warranty for long‑term reliability.
  • Compatibility: Designed for a wide range of 6" lift 4WD applications across popular models, delivering dependable damping on trucks and SUVs.

The SX6000 is engineered to deliver a balanced combination of comfort and control, helping reduce body roll and improve steering feedback on rough roads and off‑road trails. Its extended travel supports suspensions with taller lift heights, ensuring tires maintain contact with uneven surfaces for better traction. For most lifted 4WD applications, two shocks are recommended to achieve symmetrical damping and stable ride quality from front to rear.
